When C&J was founded in 1950, it consisted of
the new part store, garage and a yard big enough for
30 cars. We would buy cars for the weight of the iron.
Anything sold off the cars would be an added bonus.
This is exactly opposite of how we do business today.
We buy car and trucks for the parts, not for the weight
the vehicle.
Now C&J operates on roughly three acres. We have
over 150 cars and trucks in our yard and over 50,000
parts inventoried ready to sell. We process over 600
cars a year.
